As the Earth plummets into a natural chaos near the year 3000, most animal species are extinct or pretty darn close to it. Humans have overrun everything, and after becoming annoyed with nature itself, have found ways around everything. Living in domed societies with controlled weather patterns, atrificial plantlife, and nothing more than the common small dog, they have forced all other creatures and forms of life into the trash bin, including the once greatly loved horses. A small grouping of equine lovers, however, had banded together to save their beloved animals. After years of protest, they finally convinced the now world wide government to create a safe haven for the remaining animals. They built a naturally functioning island stretching across the entire Pacific Ocean. Every known horse was released onto the island, breeds ranging from the proud, tall drafts to the tiny, friendly shetland ponies.

Years after the confusion had dwindled amongst the equines, they slowly began to rely on their natural instincts once again. Many died from being so dependant on human care, but the stronger and smarter survived to train their progeny to do the same. Over the years the island, called Ambrosia, flourished with the free lives of the diverse breeds of horses. Three large herds were established: the Dalibor, the Alceaus, and the Kleos. The Dalibor to the north, strong and bent on survival in thier harsh climate and led by the brutal shire stallion, Malin. The Alceaus dwelling in the mid forests, kind hearted, gentle, and lead by a quarter horse stallion named Kalliades. Last but definitely not least, the Kleos who dwell in the wide stretching fields and deserts of the south and are led by Whiskey Lullaby, a strong quarter horse mare. Which ranks will you join?
